Attorneys!

  • Tennessee attorneys must earn 15 CLE Credits each year (by December 31), including 3 Ethics/Professionalism Credits.
  • Tennessee has permanently removed the cap on distance learning courses. Tennessee attorneys may earn ALL (15) of your CLE Credits, including both Ethics/ Professionalism ("Dual") and General Credits, through participation in approved Distance Learning courses.
  • Each of these National Law Foundation Online programs is approved for Tennessee Distance Learning CLE credit.
  • CARRY OVER
    A maximum of eight (8) hours of Distance Learning credit can be carried forward to the subsequent compliance year.
  • After completing your NLFOnline course and submitting a brief evaluation, you may print a Certificate of Completion for your records.
  • REPORTING
    National Law Foundation will electronically report your Tennessee Distance Learning credits within 30 days of course completion.
